Once installed the programs can be found here:
StartButton- > All Programs -> HiTek Power
POWERUP and check version numbers
Supply the unit with 24Volts
Connect the GUN interlocks. (If you do not have the required equipment, shine a bright light source into the GUN interlock receiver)
Use the EG353 GUI to read the firmware version for both the grounded and the floating micros.
Open the firmware file
Close the EG353 GUI
Open ‘PSU Loader’ application
The same HEX file must be used to upgrade BOTH the grounded and the floating microcontrollers.
Upgrade the GROUNDED
(NOTE: If you are upgrading IB303, select this from the menu)
Select COM Port
Click Send. The upgrade should take about 40 seconds
Upgrade the FLOATING (NOTE: If you are upgrading IB303, select this from the menu)
Select COM Port
Click Send. The upgrade should take about 60 seconds. Check GUN interlock if no response.
Verify version number has changed
